One of the most well-made movies of 2019. For my oil pastel today, I chose the poster of the movie 1917. This movie won 3 Oscars and created a great impact on everybody's mind. For our generation, the world wars are historical incidents. So we do not really comprehend the hardships that the soldiers had to face on a daily basis, even for tasks such as relaying information. 1917 tells the story of two such soldiers who fought their way through, quite literally, to convey information of an impending attack. If they had not succeeded to do so, it would have changed the course of history. A must-watch, especially when we are stuck home, fighting our battle against Corona in our own way.
