The Brooding Cat

Do you know a person who can sit quietly at one place and think for hours? I won't be surprised if you say no. Such people are very rare to find. With social media, games, movies and so many things to pass our time, thinking or brooding about things is a rarity in human beings nowadays. If we are bored, we simply pick up our phones and check all the social media apps. By the time we are done going through all the status updates, stories, tweets and Instagram posts, we realise that a couple of hours have passed already.
But there are few thinkers who can sit at one place, without being distracted by any gadgets, and brood for hours. Think and analyse different things. And if you've known such a person, you'll also know that they can provide deep insights about seemingly mundane things. They can sit and think about a book or a movie for hours and end up understanding them better than anyone else.
Today's oil pastel is about these brooding souls. Since we are under lockdown, we must try to get in touch with the deep thinker within us. There's a popular saying that's going on nowadays, If you can't go outside, go inside.
Let us take advantage of all the time we have now and think. Think about all the positives and negatives in our lives. We might end up solving conflicts, mending relationships or coming to terms with our own shortcomings and dissatisfactions.
Stay indoors, stay healthy.
